Watch: The 'Suicide Squad' Movie Trailer Is Here and It's Terrifying

The official "Suicide Squad" trailer is here and it's more terrifying than we had imagined.

After some exclusive Comic-Con footage from the upcoming DC Comics flick leaked, director David Ayer decided to treat fans with the full official trailer. "Shame our sneak peek Hall H footage was leaked. #notcool," Ayer tweeted Monday. "It's unfair to the fans who waited in line. And not how I intended folks to see it."

Now cue the new clip (it will give you chills!). The trailer features the cast of super-villains who unite to fight crime on the side of good. Margot Robbie is particularly creepy as Harley Quinn while Will Smith kicks ass as Deadshot. We also get a glimpse of Ben Affleck's Batman and at the end Jared Leto creeps us out with his nightmarish portrayal of the insane Joker.

PICS: Upcoming movies

"Suicide Squad" also stars Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne, Scott Eastwood and Joel Kinnaman.

Watch the chill-inducing trailer for yourself, above. "Suicide Squad" is set to hit theaters August 5, 2016.
