President Barack Obama and possible future presidential candidate Kanye West are slated to attend the Democratic National Committee event in San Francisco on Oct. 10.

The fundraiser is billed as an afternoon concert will be hosted at the Warfield—a 2,300 seat venue—with tickets selling for $250 to $10,000 each. West is expected to perform songs from his latest album, "Swish."

It should come as no surprise that West is trying to inject himself at events with some of the top politicians of the United States. At the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) in August, West announced that he will be running for president in 2020

West's VMAs antics are the reason the president may not be the biggest fan of the rapper. In 2009, head of state called West a "jackass" after he interrupted Taylor Swift from accepting an award for Best Female Video.

"I'll let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time!" were the infamous words West uttered after cutting Swift off. The phrase is still used as jokes in other award shows and online.

Former Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, asked West to "wait" to run for president in 2020 because she hopes to being running for her second term at that time, the presidential candidate said on Ellen DeGeneres show.

Anyone unable to attend the event can donate through the fundraiser website.
