Lily-Rose Depp is breaking her silence on her father's divorce from Amber Heard, who accused the actor of domestic abuse.
Lily-Rose posted a photo on Instagram showing her father holding her as a toddler.
"My dad is the sweetest most loving person I know, he's been nothing but a wonderful father to my little brother and I, and everyone who knows him would say the same."
A judge granted Heard's request for a domestic abuse restraining order Friday against the "Through the Looking Glass" actor and no one from his family has spoken out until now.
The judge ordered that Depp stay 100 yards away from Heard and said that the "Magic Mike" actress has a right to stay and live in the family home.
The restraining order request came just days after she filed for divorce from the star, citing irreconcilable differences in court documents.
Heard and her attorneys presented a photograph in court Friday, obtained by E! News, which shows what appears to be a bruise on her right eye.
Upon leaving the courthouse, she looked visibly bruised and solemn as she made her way into a chauffeured vehicle.
A source told E! News at the time, "This is not about right now. It's an ongoing thing that she needs protection from. She did what she had to do protect herself."
Our insider added, "It wasn't an easy decision, but this is the truth. It was very hard for her."
The couple was married for 15 months. The two started dating in 2012 and met on the set of "The Rum Diary."
"The Pirates of the Caribbean" star broke his silence about the split Thursday via a statement from his rep.
"Given the brevity of this marriage and the most recent and tragic loss of his mother, Johnny will not respond to any of the salacious false stories, gossip, misinformation and lies about his personal life," the rep told E! News. "Hopefully the dissolution of this short marriage will be resolved quickly."
