Jennifer Lawrence Visits Hometown Children's Hospital for the Third Year in a Row

Jennifer Lawrence stayed true to her Christmastime tradition this week by visiting Kosair Children's Hospital in her hometown of Louisville, Kentucky.

The Oscar-winning actress has made an appearance at Kosair three years in a row now and the looks on the children's faces are still as priceless as ever.

Lawrence brought smiles to the little patients as she greeted fans and posed for photographs throughout her visit on Wednesday.

The hospital posted several of the unforgettable photos and wrote a special message to the "Joy" star for helping to bring just that to those who are unable to go home and be with their family during this time of year.

"Jennifer Lawrence stopped by Kosair Children's Hospital today! Thank you for bringing many smiles to the patients before the holidays," the hospital's Facebook wrote in a post.

Last year, the hospital shared a similar message to the actress, writing, "Thank you for visiting the kids yesterday. We know it meant a lot to them and brightened their day."

E! News caught up with Lawrence earlier this month where she dished about her dream plans for Christmas.

"Hopefully sleep, although my nephews...they don't let me sleep in anymore. The oldest one goes, 'If you go back to sleep, I'm going to lick you.' And I go, 'Well that's gross, because I've seen what you do with your mouth, so I'm up!'"
