    Well, now it's really official.

"Arrested Development" will return on Netflix for Season 5 in 2018. And while star Jason Bateman announced as much on social media last week, it became official today with the announcment from the show's Twitter page.

After airing for three seasons on Fox from 2004-2006, the show moved to Netflix for a fourth season in 2013. The news comes after speculation over whether Netflix would be able to gather the cast for another season following the season four revival.

"Arrested Development" stars Bateman, Michael Cera, Portia de Rossi, Tony Hale, Alia Shawkat, Jeffrey Tambor, Jessica Walter, David Cross and Will Arnett.
