Romeo Santos leads the list of nominees for the 2014 Latin Music Billboard Awards with 17 nominations. The singer is followed by Prince Royce with 16 nominations and Marc Anthony with 15.

Other nominees include the late Jenni Rivera, Daddy Yankee and Enrique Iglesias with seven nominations each.

The awards show was airing live from Miami, Fla. on Thursday, April 24, starting at 7pm ET/6C on Telemundo.

Here are the nominees for the different categories of "Album of the Year":

Top Latin Album of the Year:

Marc Anthony, “3.0” His first original tropical album in more than a decade, it was produced by Sergio George and himself. All eight songs reflect the unique style of one of the greatest salsa artists in history with more than 12 million albums sold worldwide.

Alejandro Fernandez, “Confidencias” Alejandro Fernandez returns to the music scene with this album, which includes 11 songs brought to life by producer Phil Ramone.

Jenni Rivera, “La Misma Gran Señora” The late singer’s album includes hits “Resulta”, “La gran señora,” “Ya lo sé,” and “Besos y copas."

Jenni Rivera, “Joyas Prestadas: Pop” A new nomination for the album. Songs “A cambio de qué,” “A que no le cuentas,” “Asi fue,” “Basta ya” and “Como tu mujer” are all included in this record.

Carlos Vives, “Corazón Profundo” The colombian songwriter’s album includes hits “Volvi a nacer,” “Corazon profundo,” “Amanecer,” and “Salvar tu amor."

Best Tropical Album:

Marc Anthony, “3.0” This album was the highest grossing latin record of 2013 in the U.S., Latin America, and Spain and it took first place in the “Top Billboard Latin Albums” in the U.S. and Puerto Rico, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Spain, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, the Dominican Republic and Venezuela.

Prince Royce, “#1’s” Few have given bachata music international recognition like Royce. The album includes songs “Corazón sin cara,” “Stand by Me,” “Te me vas,” and “El verdadero amor perdona."

“Sergio George presents Salsa Giants," Various artists This album includes two records with collaborations from Marc Anthony, Oscan de Leon, Cheo Feliciano, Luis Enrique, Andy Montañez, Willie Chirino, Jose Alberto “El canario,” La orquesta de la luz and Charlie Zaa.

Best Regional Mexican album:

Jenni Rivera, “1969-Siempre: En Vivo Desde Monterrey Parte 1” This album contains her last live performance in Monterrey, Mexico on Dec. 8, 2012. The album includes the songs “Dos botellas de mezcal,” “Que me entierren con la banda,” “Rosita Alvirez,” and “Vida prestada."

Jenni Rivera, “La Misma Gran Señora” This album includes hits “Resulta,” “La gran señora,” "Ya lo sé,” and “Besos y copas."

Jenni Rivera, “Joyas Prestadas” This album includes songs “A cambio de qué,” “A que no le cuentas,” “Así fue,” “Basta ya” and “Como tu mujer."

“Las bandas románticas de America 2013," Various artists This album includes hits from “La arrolladora banda el limón,” “El recodo,” among others.

Best Latin Rhythm Album:

“Don Omar Presents MT02: New Generation” Don Omar has obtained a nomination in the category of “Latin rhythm” with this album, which includes the songs “Hasta que salga el sol,” “Así es que” and “Flor de campo."

Yandel, “De Líder A Leyenda” His first solo record, the album includes 17 original songs with collaborations from artists like Daddy Yankee, J. Alvarez, El General Gadiel and Don Omar.

Wisin y Yandel, “Líderes” “Líderes” includes 16 songs. The most outstanding is “Follow the Leader” with an appearance by Jennifer Lopez.

And the final nominee is this category is “Pina Records presenta: La formula, the company”, Various Artists
