Barbra Streisand to Appear on “Tonight Show”

"The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" will feature only one guest on Monday: Barbra Streisand. It is the first late-night talk show appearance by the famed singer and actress in more than 50 years.

The show will feature a “night of talk, comedy, and performance to celebrate the upcoming release of her new album ‘Partners,’” which is set to release on Tuesday by Columbia Records, according to NBC.

“Partners” features 12 duets with singers including Andrea Bocelli, Michael Bublé, Kenneth 'Babyface' Edmonds, Jason Gould, Josh Groban, Billy Joel, John Legend, John Mayer, Lionel Richie, Blake Shelton, Stevie Wonder, and an one-of-a-kind virtual duet with Elvis Presley.

The 72-year-old legendary singer and songwriter, actress, author, film producer, and director first appeared on "The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson" in 1963 to promote her debut album, and has come a long way since.

With a Grammy, an Oscar, an Emmy, and a Tony among her tremendous accomplishments, Streisand is also a leading spokesperson for social causes, including AIDS and The Women’s Heart Center.

Much of Streisand’s time and resources are occupied with fundraising efforts through The Streisand Foundation.

Additionally, SiriusXM announced this week that it will launch "The Barbra Streisand Channel" for a limited time between Sept. 16 and Oct. 10, which will feature personal song selections spanning Streisand’s entire career, including her new album.

Tune in Monday to "The Tonight Show" to hear what Streisand has been working on over the past five decades and see a special performance from one of the world’s most notable artists.
