Christian Bale’s transformation has Wahlberg worried
He’s known for bulking up or wasting away as each role demands, but Christian Bale’s latest transformation for “The Fighter” has co-star Mark Wahlberg worried.

According to the National Enquirer, Wahlberg feels his friend has lost too much weight, even if Bale is staying in character for the part of a drug-addicted boxer. Wahlberg recently warned, “You’re messing with your health!”

It’s a warning one insider believes Bale should heed.

“Christian is a method actor,” the insider explained. “If a role calls for him to look like a drug dealer, or he has to play someone who hasn’t slept in a year, he’ll go without food to look the part. But the danger comes after he takes off all that weight, and then eats everything in sight to put it back on for the next role. That kind of yo-yo dieting can be deadly. Mark and Christian are friends… Mark feels Christian is taking the whole ‘in character’ thing too far.”

Anna Paquin Defends Her Decision to Bare All

Oscar-winning child star turned “True Blood” vixen Anna Paquin has no regrets when it comes to baring all on the small screen. In fact, according to the 27-year-old, nude sex scenes are one way she brings a dose of reality to the vampire drama.

“I’m sorry, maybe there are women who keep their bras on while they have sex,” Paquin told Nylon magazine. “I don’t happen to be one of them.”

The Canadian-born, New Zealand-raised actress admitted she doesn’t understand why some find nudity a cause for concern.

“I don’t think a naked body is particularly shocking or interesting,” Paquin said. “It’s not the culture I was raised in. I was not brought up in the United States. I don’t share the (attitude) that you can have graphic violence, but God forbid you see someone’s nipples.”

Cibrian’s wife calls him a compulsive liar and a cheat
Now that Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes have gone public with their not-so-secret affair, Cibrian’s estranged wife, Brandi Glanville, wants the world to know just what kind of man she married.

“Eddie is a compulsive liar, cheater and a home wrecker,” Glanville ranted to Us Weekly. “And he has been an absentee father.”

Cibrian, who recently blamed the “unfair fishbowl” of fame for magnifying his problems, assured Entertainment Tonight that he loved his family and that he’s “a great father.” It’s a claim Glanville denies.

“Eddie’s displays of poor taste have hurt our two children,” Glanville insisted. “Eddie may just end up drowning himself in that ‘unfair fishbowl.’”

Dish on the fly
In order to put fashion first, “Project Runway” host Heidi Klum refuses to wear maternity garb. “You just buy things in a size 10 (instead),” the expectant mom said in a quote posted to Showbiz Spy. “When you’re doing a show on fashion, you still have to bring it on.” … Former supermodel Cindy Crawford won’t let tabloids dictate what she wears to the beach. “I have cellulite,” Crawford confessed to Redbook magazine before adding, “I think I look good for my age. I am not 25; I am 43. That feels like a big pressure, especially when the National Enquirer is dying to get a picture. I am so aware that I don’t want to change the way I live because of that kind of attention. So you say, ‘Screw it. I am wearing this bikini, and I am not putting on a cover-up.’” … At 70 years old, actor George Hamilton believes he’s found the fountain of youth in the form of stem-cell injections. In an interview with the New York Daily News, the smooth-faced senior explained his never-ending source of stem cells. “You don’t have to get it from embryos,” Hamilton assured. “You can get it from your own fat.”
