A new musical may be headed to Broadway.

While audiences have not hesitated when it comes to shelling out money to see Will Ferrell's takedown of George W. Bush on Broadway, will they feel the same way when a musical based on the life of the original Bernie Madoff hits the stage?

Producer Jean Doumanian is reportedly developing a musical based on the 2005 book Ponzi's Scheme, which details the rise and fall of the legendarily crooked Charles Ponzi in the 1920s.

If this sells, maybe we'll finally have the juice to get the three-act play we wrote about multi-level marketing off the ground. Its title? The $10,000 Pyramid Scheme! [Arts Beat]
