No More ‘Parts’ For Robert Pattinson

“Twilight” star Robert Pattinson is dropping out of the indie film, “Parts Per Billion,” MTV News reported.

The film, which was set to begin shooting this month, would have interfered with the star’s preparations for the Chris Weitz-helmed “Twilight” sequel, “New Moon,” which is being fast-tracked for a November 2009 release.

“Unfortunately, the prep time and production schedule on ‘New Moon’ haven’t left enough time for Robert to work on ‘Parts Per Billion’ in the first quarter of this year,” Nicholas Frenkel, Robert’s agent, told MTV News.

Rosario Dawson is producing and starring in the film, which reportedly was set to pair Robert and Olivia Thirlby (“The Wackness”) in heated love scenes.

“New Moon” begins shooting in March, but fans can see Robert in upcoming films “Little Ashes” and “How To Be,” both shot before “Twilight.”
