Chris Brown Starts Dating Again

Singer Chris Brown pleaded not guilty to beating up his former girlfriend, Rihanna. But someone close to him says that when it comes to reports that he's dating again, that he's guilty as charged.
Chris Brown didn’t mourn his broken relationship with Rihanna all that long.
The troubled R&B star who just pleaded not-guilty to felony assault and making criminal threats is apparently back with one of his ex-girlfriends, according to The New York Daily News.
Her name is Erica Jackson and she’s a student at University of Mary Washington in Virginia.
“[Chris and Erica] met in Virginia, where he’s from,” a source close to the singer told the News. “They dated back in the day and reconnected a few weeks ago when Chris was in town. They’ve been spending a lot of time together, but things only really heated up over the last two weeks.”
Word is that Brown’s most recent ex, Rihanna, won’t be too happy to hear the news.
“She is going to be pissed!” a friend of Rihanna’s told the News. “Ri is going to be so hurt that Chris has moved on so quickly and is parading this new girl around town.”
The new relationship may lead Rihanna to get more involved in the case against Brown. Some reports had said that Rihanna was not cooperating with the L.A. district attorney. Her lawyer, however, disputes those reports.
“[Rihanna] will do everything that the law requires her to do ... nothing has changed,” Donald Etra, said recently.
If Rihanna isn’t happy about the Brown’s rekindled love affair, Brown’s family is; they are said to like her.
“[Erica] has a good head on her shoulders; she’s solid,” the insider source tells the News. “She’s more of a plain Jane — cute though. … At the very least, she’s helping to ease Chris’ pain over Rihanna. He was mad in love with that girl.”
