Larry King In Talks With “Daily Show”

Larry may team up with Jon for some laughs.

Talk show veteran Larry King is coming back to TV to show the new kids on the block how's it done.

The long time CNN host is in talks to join Jon Stewart's "Daily Show" as a contributor, reports the New York Post.

According to the Post's account, King, fresh off flashing his comedic chops at Comedy Central's recent celebrity roast of Donald Trump, would appear from time to time much as comedian Lewis Black does.

The deal is not done, but could be close to completion soon.

Stewart, who appeared on King's final CNN broadcast, is reportedly a big fan of the 77-year-old broadcaster and told him that he was "the last man out of a burning building" in regards to to a general ratings decline at CNN. When "Larry King Live" was winding down last year, Comedy Central also expressed its affinity for the Brooklyn native, saying in a commerical that "there's not enough Larry on TV."
