Chris Brown is singing a different tune, a day after lashing out online with gays slurs at another artist who’d provoked him.

"Yesterday was an unfortunate lack in judgment sparked by public Twitter attacks from Raz B, who was bent on getting attention,” the “Forever” singer told TMZ on Thursday. “Words cannot begin to express how sorry and frustrated I am over what transpired publicly on Twitter.”

After Raz reportedly ignited the hours-long war of words by referencing Brown’s assault on ex-girlfriend Rihanna last year, Brown had responded by mocking Raz-B’s sexuality and the musician’s past claims he’d been molested by several of his band’s ex-managers.

Brown, who is now serving a five-year probation sentence for the Rihanna assault plus community service, said he’s “learned over the past few years to not condone or represent acts of violence against anyone.”

“Molestation and victims of such acts are not to be taken lightly; and for my comments I apologize -- from the bottom of my heart," Brown told TMZ.

The R&B star added he’s committed to “becoming a better person.”

Turns out Raz-B also had a change of heart for his part in the Twitter feud.

"I want to publicly apologize for my direct attacks done out of anger,” he told TMZ.

And thus was this great feud put to rest, for 2010 at least.
