Keeping up with celebrities can be an exhausting job.
Maria graces the cover of the magazine’s October 2008 issue and inside the pages, the Access host shares some of her workout secrets she used to go from a Size 14 to her super-fit shape.
In addition to a step-by-step guide to several of Maria’s favorite Krav Maga exercises, she also dishes on the workout equipment she has at home.
“A stability ball, Bowflex Ultimate and Xtreme machines, a heavy bag, weights, a treadmill and an elliptical,” Maria revealed. “But honestly, if I have only 20 minutes, I’d rather just take my dog for a walk.”
Maria also offers her diet and relaxation tips. What does she suggest to relieve stress in fast-paced Hollywood?
“Driving in my car with the music blasting,” she said. “If you’re ever in LA and see some girl singing Greek music in a convertible, it’s probably me!”
And when it comes to the most important meal of the day, there’s not always time for a full breakfast.
“A bowl of raisin bran, Grape-Nuts and soy milk,” she said, describing her “Express Breakfast.” “I need to fill up because being in TV, where things pop up all the time, I often don’t know when I’ll get to eat again.”
