Katie Holmes' Brother-In-Law Dies

The brother-in-law of Katie Holmes has died, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

Joseph Jeffrey Fretti, 48, the husband of Katie's older sister, Tamera, died of heart failure, a rep for the actress told Access.

Fretti was a funeral director who ran the J Jeffrey Fretti Funeral Home in Toledo, Ohio.

Fretti was reportedly found dead on April 12 in Sarasota, Fla., by a friend, according to Radar Online, which first reported the story.
