Kanye West is making a comeback – in all caps.
The outspoken rapper, who has kept unusually quiet since his infamous interruption of Taylor Swift at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards last fall, has drawn fire recently for his outfits at Paris Fashion Week, and had something to say about it on his personal blog.
"When it's all said and done, remember the fearless, remember the dreamers, remember those who represent the ghetto… the fairy tale of nothing to something," he wrote in an all-caps blog post on Friday. "I'm briefly saddened by negative comments, but I have to remember those people are scared, incapable or just plain idiots. We are the f***ing rock stars baby, no cocaine, just life."
The star then attacked fashion bloggers who criticized his outfits but "dress mad prude and don't live fashion."
"Clothing is a choice," he continued. "No more politics or apologies!!!!"
However, PETA Vice President Dan Matthews wasn't happy with Kanye's choice to wear fur.
"Kanye can't help making himself look like an idiot, whether at an awards show or a fashion show," Matthews said in a statement earlier this week. "He and his girlfriend look like pathetic creatures from a shabby roadside zoo."
And others spoke out against the rapper on the popular street fashion blog The Sartorialist this week when a portrait of Kanye wearing fur was posted alongside the blog's usual non-celebrity fare – drawing over 400 comments, many negative.
"The poster boy for everything wrong about celebrities, and wears fur… Ugh," wrote commenter Filipe.
But some supported Kanye's look, with commenter Ore.Runs writing, "He so deserves to be on here… that fur collar is gorgeous."
