Jon Cryer Jokes About Sheen Meltdown

Well, at least one thing has been consistent throughout the Charlie Sheen saga: Jon Cryer's unflappable sense of humor about it all.

Amid the scandals and the venomous back-and-forths between Sheen and "Two and a Half Men" creator Chuck Lorre, Cryer has appeared to take everything in stride. Whether taking a temp job on the "Ellen DeGeneres show" or "coming out" as a "troll" during a visit to Conan O'Brien, Cryer has managed to make light of a situation that had been putting the future of "Men" in serious jeopardy.

Following news that the sitcom will continue with Ashton Kutcher taking over for Sheen, Cryer appeared on the "Late Show" with David Letterman to talk about the Sheen implosion.

"This has never happened before," Cryer said. "There was no template for a star going what appeared to be crazy while starring in a popular show before."

Now all the cast and crew of "Two and a Half Men" have to worry about is how to explain the absence of Charlie Sheen next season.
