Will Michael Jackson's children follow in his superstar footsteps?

Joe Jackson, Michael's father, told ABC News that it's a possibility.

"I don't know — I keep watching Paris," he said in an interview with "Good Morning America" on Friday. "She … wants to do something. And as far as I can see, well, they say Blanket, he can really dance."

And Joe said that he and wife Katherine, who Michael named in his will as his chosen guardian for Prince Michael Jackson, 12, Paris Katherine Michael Jackson, 11, and Prince "Blanket" Michael Jackson II, 7, should raise them.

"Their grandmother — Katherine — and I [should raise them]," Joe said. "Yes, there's no one else to do what we can do for them. We should keep them all together and then make them happy, feed 'em like they're supposed to be fed, and let them get rest, plenty of sleep and grow up to be strong Jacksons."

However, Joe is still focused on Michael's death – which he thinks could've been the result of a criminal act.

"I just couldn't believe what was happening to Michael," he said of the singer's cardiac arrest and subsequent passing on June 25. "I do believe it was foul play. I do believe that. Yes."

Joe added that a second autopsy authorized by the family has yet to shed light on the factors behind Michael's death. Results from the official autopsy's toxicology tests are still weeks away.

"Based on those, we will have an idea of what it is we are dealing [with]," LAPD chief William Bratton told CNN on Thursday. "Are we dealing with a homicide or are we dealing with an accidental overdose?"

As previously reported by AccessHollywood.com, authorities are in the process of reconstructing Michael's medical history and investigating several doctors associated with the star.

CNN reported on Friday that documents have emerged from 2004 that allege Michael at times took more than 10 Xanax pills a night, an amount which CNN's Dr. Sanjay Gupta called "a huge red flag."

"This is an extremely high dose of Xanax," he said.

The Los Angeles Times previously reported that Diprivan, a powerful anesthetic, was found in Michael's Holmby Hills home at the time of his death.
