Brooklyn Decker Mulls Adoption

She and her husband are considering adopting a special needs child

Brooklyn Decker said and she and tennis star husband Andy Roddick are considering adopting a special needs child.

“I want to adopt a child or a baby with an intellectual disability one day,” the model and actress told Canadian magazine Flare for an upcoming issue. “I mean, that’s in the distant future, but that’s always been a goal of mine.”

According to People, Decker said the desire to adopt came from her aunt, who was a Special Olympic athlete.

"Unfortunately a lot of kids with intellectual disabilities are given up for adoption when they're born 'cause it's a lot for a family," Decker told Flare.

Decker and Roddick have been married since 2009, shortly before she filmed the movie “Just Go with It” in Hawaii.

During filming, Decker reportedly played with the children on the set and said she couldn’t wait to be “barefoot and pregnant,” according to Women’s Health.

Roddick said in an interview with E! Online back in 2010 that the couple was focused on their careers and “obviously waiting” to have a baby.
