Official Rules
August 27, 2012—September 11, 2012

PRELIMINARY INFORMATION: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. Void outside the KNBC, KNSD, KNTV, KXAS, WCAU, WMAQ, WNBC, WRC, WVIT and WTVJ Local Geographic Areas (defined below) and where prohibited. The On the White Carpet Dress Giveaway Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) will begin on August 27, 2012, at 12:00:01 A.M. ET and end on September 11, 2012 at 11:59:59 P.M. ET (“Sweepstakes Period”). All times in the Sweepstakes refer to Eastern Time (“ET”). Odds of winning depend upon number of eligible Entries (defined below) received. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.

SPONSORS: NBC Nonstop and NBCUniversal Media, LLC, both located at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, New York, NY 10112 shall collectively be the sponsors (“Sponsors”) of the Sweepstakes.

ELIGIBILITY: Open only to permanent, legal United States (“U.S.”) residents who are female, eighteen (18) years of age or older and the age of majority in their state of residence as of August 27, 2012, and who are physically located and residing in the KNBC, KNSD, KNTV, KXAS, WCAU, WMAQ, WNBC, WRC, WVIT and WTVJ terrestrial geographic viewing areas (each, a “Local Geographic Area;” collectively, “Overall Geographic Area”) in the following counties:

KNBC: Kern, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura in the state of California.

KNSD: San Diego in the state of California

KNTV: Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Sonoma, Marin, Solano, Napa, Mendocino, and Lake in the state of California.

KXAS: Anderson, Bosque, Collin, Comanche, Cooke, Dallas, Delta, Denton, Ellis, Erath, Fannin, Freestone, Hamilton, Henderson, Hill, Hood, Hopkins, Hunt, Jack, Johnson, Kaufman, Lamar, Navarro, Palo Pinto, Parker, Rains, Rockwall, Somervell, Tarrant, Van Zandt and Wise in the state of Texas.

WCAU: Berks, Lehigh, Northampton, Bucks, Montgomery, Chester, Delaware, and Philadelphia in the state of Pennsylvania; Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Cape May, Atlantic, Salem, and Cumberland in the state of New Jersey; and New Castle and Kent in the state of Delaware.

WMAQ: Cook, De Kalb, Du Page, Grundy, Kane, Kankakee, Kendall, Lake, La Salle, McHenry, and Will in the state of Illinois; and Jasper, Lake, La Porte, Newton, and Porter in the state of Indiana.

WNBC: Bronx, Dutchess, Kings, Nassau, New York, Orange, Putnam, Queens, Richmond, Rockland, Suffolk, Sullivan, Ulster, and Westchester in the state of New York; Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Hunterdon, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Ocean, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex, Union, and Warren in the state of New Jersey; Fairfield in the state of Connecticut; and Pike in the state of Pennsylvania.

WRC: The District of Columbia, and the counties of Arlington, Berkeley, Clarke, Culpepper, Fairfax, Fauquier, Frederick, Grant, Hampshire, Hardy, Jefferson, King George, Loudoun, Mineral, Morgan, Orange, Page, Prince William, Rappahannock, Shenandoah, Spotsylvania, Stafford, Warren and Westmoreland, in Virginia; the counties of Allegany, Calvert, Charles, Frederick, Montgomery, Prince George’s, St. Mary’s, and Washington in Maryland; and Fulton county in Pennsylvania.

WTVJ: Monroe, Miami-Dade, and Broward in the state of Florida.

WVIT: Hartford, Litchfield, Middlesex, New Haven, New London, Tolland and Windham in the state of Connecticut.

Entrants must not now be a candidate for public office and must agree not to become a candidate for public office until six (6) months after initial broadcast of all programs in which Winner (as defined below) appears. Entrant should not be a professional actor. Entrants must be unmarried, and engaged to be married, as of August 27, 2012 and during the entire Sweepstakes Period. Officers, directors, and employees of Sweepstakes Entities (as defined below), members of these persons’ immediate families (spouses and/or parents, children, and siblings, and their spouses, regardless of where they reside), and/ or persons living in the same households as these persons (whether or not related thereto) are not eligible to enter or win the Sweepstakes. Sweepstakes Entities, as referenced herein, shall include Sponsors (as defined above); Pronovias USA, Inc. (“Pronovias”); AVC Productions, LLC, (“AVC”); KNBC, 3000 West Alameda Avenue, Burbank, CA 91523; KNSD, 225 Broadway, San Diego, CA 92101; KNTV, 2450 North First Street, San Jose, CA 95131; KXAS, 3100 McKinnon Avenue, Suite 850, Dallas, TX 75201; WCAU, 10 Monument Road, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004; WMAQ, 454 North Columbus Drive, Chicago, IL 60611;WNBC, 30 Rockefeller Plaza, New York, NY 10112; WRC, 4001 Nebraska Avenue, N.W., Washington, DC 20016; WTVJ, 15000 SW 27th Street, Miramar, FL 33027; WVIT, 1422 New Britain Avenue, West Hartford, CT 06110 and their respective parent, subsidiary, and affiliate companies, their administrative, advertising, and promotion agencies, and any other entity involved in the development, administration, promotion, or implementation of the Sweepstakes. Winner (as defined below) must be willing to voluntarily provide no fewer than fifteen (15) unique images of Dress (as defined below) portion of Prize (as described below) to Pronovias. Images must include Winner, Winner’s marriage partner, and Dress in the wedding setting, before during and after wedding ceremony.

TO ENTER: To enter the Sweepstakes, during the Sweepstakes Period access the Sweepstakes website at www.nbcdreamdressgiveaway.com and follow the onscreen instructions to complete and thereafter submit the entry form (“Entry”). Information required on the Entry form consists of your first and last name, complete address (including Zip Code), daytime telephone number (including area code), date of birth, and email address (collectively “Entry Information”). All Entries become the property of Sponsors and will not be acknowledged or returned.

Entries must be received by 11:59:59 P.M. ET on September 11, 2012 to be eligible for the Sweepstakes. Limit one (1) Entry per person/email address per day during the Sweepstakes Period. Multiple Entries received from any person or unique email address beyond the above stated limits will void all such additional Entries. All required Entry Information must be completed in full for Entries to be eligible. Any attempted form of Entry other than as described herein is void. All Entries become the property of Sponsors and will not be acknowledged or returned. Entries generated by a script, macro, or other automated means will be disqualified. Entries that are incomplete, garbled, corrupted, or unintelligible for any reason, including, but not limited to, computer or network malfunction or congestion, are void and will not be accepted. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant who made a potentially winning Entry, Sponsors will deem that the authorized account holder of the email address indicated in such Entry made the Entry. The “authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person to whom the email address is assigned by an Internet service provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. Except where prohibited by law or Sponsors’ Privacy Policies, Entry constitutes permission to use entrant’s name, city, state, likeness, image, and/or voice for purposes of advertising, promotion, and publicity in any and all media now or hereafter known, throughout the world in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification, permission, or approval. By entering, all entrants warrant and represent that they agree to be bound by 3 these Official Rules and the final decisions of Sponsors.

PRIVACY: Any personal information supplied by entrants to Sponsors will be subject to Sponsors’ respective Privacy Policies posted at: http://www.nbclosangeles.com/privacy; http:// www.nbcsandiego.com/privacy; http://www.nbcbayarea.com/privacy; http://www.nbcdfw.com/ privacy; http://www.nbcphiladelphia.com/privacy http://www.nbcchicago.com/privacy; http:// www.nbcwashington.com/privacy; http://www.nbcmiami.com/privacy; http://www.nbchartford.com/ privacy; http://www.nbcnewyork.com/privacy and http://www.nbc.com/Footer/Privacy/. Entrants will have the opportunity to receive information from Sponsors and selected partners by checking the appropriate box(es). If, at any time, you no longer wish to receive materials from Sponsors and/or their selected partners, please go to their respective Privacy Policies or the privacy policy of the applicable partner and follow the procedures indicated.

WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: On or about September 12, 2012, one (1) potential winner (“Winner”) will be selected in a random drawing by representatives of Sponsors from among all eligible Entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. Sponsors will make two (2) attempts within a twenty-four (24) hour period to notify potential Winner at the phone number and/or email address submitted at the time of Entry. Potential Winner will be required to execute and return (via shipping service pre-paid by Sponsors) an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, Publicity Release (where legal) and any other documentation that Sponsors may require (collectively, “Sweepstakes Documents”) within two (2) days after such notification, or potential Winner may be disqualified and an alternate potential Winner may be selected in a random drawing from among the remaining eligible Entries at Sponsors’ sole discretion. Potential Winner may also be required to fax the completed Sweepstakes Documents to Sponsors’ representatives within twenty-four (24) hours of receipt of these documents by potential Winner. Faxed Sweepstakes Documents will have the same force and effect as the originals. By returning the completed Sweepstakes Documents, Winner attests to the authenticity of his/her Entry. If potential Winner cannot be reached, if he/she is found to be ineligible, if he/she cannot or does not comply with these Official Rules, and/or if his/her prize notification is returned as undeliverable, potential Winner will be disqualified and, time permitting, an alternate potential Winner may be selected in a random drawing from among the remaining eligible Entries at Sponsors’ sole discretion. Sweepstakes Documents will only be shipped to an address within Overall Geographic Area only.

PRIZE: There will be one (1) prize (“Prize”) awarded to Winner. Prize consists of a trip for Winner and one (1) guest (“Guest”) to New York City, NY (“Trip”). Trip includes round-trip, commercial coach- class air travel from an airport near Winner’s residence, to an airport in or near New York City, NY (“NY Airport”); standard hotel accommodations for Winner and Guest (single room/double occupancy) for two (2) nights at a hotel in New York City, NY (“Hotel”) (as determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion); Winner (only) will receive a wedding dress fitting at the New York-area Pronovias store (“Fitting”); one (1) Pronovias wedding dress (“Dress”); Winner (only) will receive an opportunity to participate in the taping (“Taping”) of a segment (“Episode”) of the NBC Nonstop show On The White Carpet (“Show”); round trip ground transportation between NY Airport and Hotel; and round trip ground transportation between NY Hotel and Fitting. Pronovias will provide Dress element of Prize. AVC will provide Taping element of Prize. Sponsors will be responsible for all travel elements of Prize.

WINNER AND GUEST MUST BE ABLE TO DEPART FROM WINNER’S LOCAL GEOGRAPHIC VIEWING AREA ON SEPTEMBER 23, 2012, RETURN TO WINNER’S LOCAL GEOGRAPHIC VIEWING AREA ON SEPTEMBER 25, 2012 AND WINNER MUST BE ABLE TO ATTEND FITTING AND PARTICIPATE IN TAPING ON SEPTEMBER 24, 2012 (OR ON DATES AND TIMES AS DETERMINED BY SPONSORS AND/OR SWEEPSTAKES ENTITIES IN THEIR SOLE DISCRETION), OR WINNER WILL BE DISQUALIFIED AND, TIME PERMITTING, AN ALTERNATE WINNER MAY BE SELECTED FROM THE REMAINING ELIGIBLE ENTRIES, AT SPONSORS’ AND/OR SWEEPSTAKES ENTITIES’ SOLE DISCRETION. Nothing set forth herein shall be construed to require Sponsors and/or Sweepstakes to conduct the Taping. Taping includes the usage of the Winner's likeness, and is subject to the requirements of the Episode’s producer and approval, which may be granted or withheld at such producer's sole discretion. Participating in Taping of Episode may be subject to and conditioned upon Winner executing a certificate of engagement and/or other services agreement granting the producer of the Episode all rights, titles and interests in and to the results and proceeds of the Winner's services on the Episode throughout the universe, in perpetuity, and other provisions customary for talent services agreement in the entertainment industry. WINNER'S APPEARANCE IN EPISPODE IS SUBJECT TO PRODUCER'S REQUIREMENTS AND SOLE DISCRETION, AND, PRIOR TO PARTICIPATION, WINNER MAY BE REQUIRED TO SIGN PRODUCER'S FULL STANDARD RELEASE AND TO SUBMIT TO PRODUCER'S STANDARD INTERVIEW AND SCREENING PROCESS AND ANY OTHER REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION. Winner may not actually appear in the final broadcast version of the Episode. The decision to broadcast Taping is subject to Sponsors and/or Sweepstakes Entities requirements and discretion. Sponsors and/or Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible or liable for cancellation or preemption of Winner's appearance in the Episode. Taping portion of Prize has no cash value. Winner will receive no compensation regardless of whether or not Winner's Taping actually appears in the Episode. In the event that the Taping of the Episode does not or cannot take place as scheduled or at all, for reasons including but not limited to scheduling conflicts, cancellations, postponement, an event of force majeure, or for any other reason, then the remaining elements of Prize shall constitute full satisfaction of Sponsors’ Prize obligation to Winner, and no additional compensation will be awarded. Estimated Retail Value (“ERV”) of Prize is five thousand dollars ($5,000). Actual Retail Value (“ARV”) may vary. Any differences between stated ERV and ARV will not be awarded. Winner will receive an IRS Form 1099 from Sponsors for the total ARV of Prize for the calendar year in which Prize was awarded. Dress style and size to be selected by Winner and is subject to approval by Pronovias. All Pronovias Dress styles and sizes may not be available to Winner as part of Prize. Dress portion of Prize will be awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by Sponsors. Winner and Guest must travel together on the same itinerary. All travel will be at the risk of Winner and Guest. If a Prize element, including, but not limited to Fitting or Taping, is not available for any reason, as determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion, the remaining elements of Prize shall be awarded and shall constitute full satisfaction of Sponsors’ Prize obligation to Winner and no additional compensation will be awarded. All Prize details will be determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion. Sponsors reserve the right to substitute a Prize (or Prize element) of comparable or greater value for any reason at their sole discretion. All taxes and other unspecified expenses, costs, or fees associated with the acceptance and/or use of Prize are solely the responsibility of Winner. Sponsors reserve the right to provide ground transportation in lieu of air transportation if Winner resides with in one hundred (100) miles of New York City, NY, as determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion. Prize cannot be transferred by Winner or redeemed for cash and is valid only for the items detailed above, with no substitution of Prize by Winner. Airline and hotel reservations are subject to availability. Travel and hotel arrangements will be determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion. Once determined, no change, extension, or substitution of Trip dates is permitted, except by Sponsors in their sole discretion. Additional restrictions may apply. Except as indicated above, no other travel elements (including, without limitation, travel to and from the airport near Winner’s residence, insurance, gasoline, meals, gratuities, souvenirs, etc.) are included in Prize. Airline tickets are non-refundable and are not valid for business-related or group travel. Tickets are valid only for travel on airline chosen by Sponsors in their sole discretion. Airline tickets will be issued only to Winner and Guest. Winner is solely responsible for any tax liability, including applicable departure taxes or fees, inspection charges, and security charges. Once issued, airline tickets are non-transferable and may not be reissued once travel has commenced. Open tickets may not be issued and stopovers are not permitted. Winner and Guest must have valid travel documents (e.g., valid government-issued photo identification and passport) prior to departure. Travel arrangements must be made through Sponsors. Any illustrations and/or depictions of Prize are for illustrative purposes only and Prize element images shown in any promotional material may not be actual Prize elements awarded. Sponsors are not responsible for airline seat assignments, special meals, check-in procedures, and baggage limitations. Sponsors shall have no responsibility or liability for cancellations, delays, or any other change by any company or person providing any element of Prize, and are not responsible or liable for any expenses incurred as a consequence thereof. Winner and Guest specifically release Sponsors from any and all claims for loss or damage to baggage or property, or from personal injuries or death, or from loss or delay, arising out of the acts, omissions, or negligence of any independent contractors, such as air carriers, hotels, restaurateurs, transportation providers, medical personnel or other providers of services or facilities. If Winner chooses to take Trip without a Guest, the remaining elements of Prize shall constitute full satisfaction of Sponsors’ Prize obligation to Winner and no additional compensation will be awarded. Guest, if any, will be required to execute and return a release of liability and, except where prohibited, publicity release (collectively, the “Guest Documents”), which must be returned with the Sweepstakes Documents, or Guest portion of Prize will be forfeited. Guest must be the age of majority in his or her state of residency as of the first date of travel or Winner must be Guest’s parent or legal guardian and must complete and return the Guest Documents on behalf of minor Guest.

CONDITIONS: By entering the Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees for entrant and for entrant’s heirs, executors, and administrators (a) to release and hold harmless Sponsors, Sweepstakes Entities and their respective officers, directors, and employees (collectively, “Released Parties”) from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from such entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of Prizes or any portion thereof (including any travel related thereto); (b) to indemnify Released Parties from any and all liability resulting or arising from the Sweepstakes and to hereby acknowledge that Released Parties have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to Prizes, including express warranties provided exclusively by prize supplier that are sent along with Prizes; (c) if selected as the Winner, to the posting of such entrant’s name on the Website and the use by Released Parties of such entrant’s name, voice, image, and/or likeness for publicity, promotional, and advertising purposes in any and all media now or hereafter known, throughout the world in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification, permission, or approval, and, upon request, to the giving of consent, in writing, to such use; and (d) to be bound by these Official Rules and to waive any right to claim any ambiguity or error therein or in the Sweepstakes itself, and to be bound by all decisions of the Sponsors and/or Sweepstakes Entities, which are binding and final. Failure to comply with these conditions may result in disqualification from the Sweepstakes at Sponsors’ and/or Sweepstakes Entities sole discretion.

ADDITIONAL TERMS: Sponsors and/or Sweepstakes Entities reserve the right to terminate the Sweepstakes or permanently disqualify from any promotion any person they believe has intentionally violated these Official Rules. Any attempt to deliberately damage the Sweepstakes or operation thereof is unlawful and subject to legal action by Sponsors, who may seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsors and/or Sweepstakes Entities reserve the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes should any computer virus, malfunction, or other cause beyond their control corrupt the administration, security, or proper operation thereof. In the event of such cancellation, suspension, or modification, Prizes may be awarded in a random drawing from among all eligible, non-suspect Entries received prior to the event requiring cancellation, suspension, or modification. Notice of cancellation, suspension, or modification will be posted on the Website. The failure of Sponsors and/or Sweepstakes Entities to comply with any provision of these Official Rules due to an act of God, hurricane, war, fire, riot, earthquake, terrorism, act of public enemies, actions of governmental authorities (excepting compliance with applicable codes and regulations), or other “force majeure” event will not be considered a breach of these Official Rules. Released Parties assume no responsibility for any injury or damage to entrants’ or to any other person’s computer and/or telephone relating to or resulting from entering or downloading materials or software in connection with the Sweepstakes. Released Parties are not responsible for telecommunications, network, electronic, technical, mobile telephone service, or computer failures of any kind; for inaccurate transcription of Entry Information; for errors in any promotional, marketing, or prize notification or fulfillment materials or in these Official Rules; for any human or electronic error; or for Entries that are stolen, misdirected, garbled, delayed, lost, late, damaged, or returned. Sponsors and/or Sweepstakes Entities may prohibit any entrant or potential entrant from participating in the Sweepstakes, if such entrant or potential entrant shows a disregard for these Official Rules; acts with an intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other entrant, Sponsors, or Sponsors’ agents or representatives; or behaves in any other disruptive manner (as determined by Sponsors and/or Sweepstakes Entities in their sole discretion).

DISPUTES: THE SWEEPSTAKES IS GOVERNED BY, AND WILL BE CONSTRUED IN ACCORDANCE WITH, THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, AND THE FORUM AND VENUE FOR ANY DISPUTE SHALL BE IN NEW YORK, NEW YORK. IF THE CONTROVERSY OR CLAIM IS NOT OTHERWISE RESOLVED THROUGH DIRECT DISCUSSIONS OR MEDIATION, IT SHALL THEN BE RESOLVED BY FINAL AND BINDING ARBITRATION ADMINISTERED BY JUDICIAL ARBITRATION AND MEDIATION SERVICES, INC., IN ACCORDANCE WITH ITS STREAMLINED ARBITRATION RULES AND PROCEDURES OR SUBSEQUENT VERSIONS THEREOF (“JAMS RULES”). THE JAMS RULES FOR SELECTION OF AN ARBITRATOR SHALL BE FOLLOWED, EXCEPT THAT THE ARBITRATOR SHALL BE EXPERIENCED AND LICENSED TO PRACTICE LAW IN NEW YORK. ALL PROCEEDINGS BROUGHT PURSUANT TO THIS PARAGRAPH WILL BE CONDUCTED IN THE COUNTY OF NEW YORK. THE REMEDY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL DAMAGES, AND IN NO EVENT SHALL ANY PARTY BE ENTITLED TO RECOVER PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING ATTORNEY’S FEES OR OTHER SUCH RELATED COSTS OF BRINGING A CLAIM, OR TO RESCIND THIS AGREEMENT OR SEEK INJUNCTIVE OR ANY OTHER EQUITABLE RELIEF.
