…and an old-school songbird swings

GRAPE THINGS: Greg Brewer (diatom, Melville) and Steve Clifton (Palmina) bring their winemaking expertise—they specialize in Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Italian varietals from the Santa Rita Hills—to steakhouse BLT Prime for Meet the Winemakers in what promises to be an exquisite (and educational) evening of meaty, rich bites-and-sips pairings. 7PM.

CLAWS OUT: To mark the release of Daniel Eagan's new book “America’s Film Legacy,” BAMcinématek screens the 1940s horror classic and National Film Registry-inductee “Cat People.” Nope, it’s not the one with Natassja Kinski; but yes, it’s the story of a woman grappling with her fear of turning into a killer panther when aroused. 6:50 and 9:15PM (Eagan will introduce the earlier show).

SINGSONG: Blonde bombshell Linnzi Zaorski’s plummy vocals seem lifted from another era, perfectly at home against the small-scale swing backdrop of her songs. No wonder: She’s from New Orleans. Banjo Jim’s, 10PM.
