Given the fact that the MTV Video Music Awards will fall bang in the middle of New York Fashion Week this year (September 13), the industry's buzzing over which music A-listers may make appearances at the tents. Personally, we think Kanye's a sure bet, but Beyonce's also likely candidate.
The folks over at Fashion Week Daily also have a few guesses -- most intriguing of all, they're betting Katy Perry will likely make some appearances at some of the more avante-garde shows like Alexandre Herchcovitch. Since Lady Gaga is hosting an after-party with Marc Jacobs, one can be pretty sure she'll be making plenty of appearances at various shows throughout the week, and again, Beyonce's a likely candidate considering her interest in fashion and style at large (House of Dereon, anyone?).
Kanye was a pretty prominent fixture at the tents last year, so we're sure he'll make a slew of cameos on the front row -- most likey joined by his now-official-model girlfriend, Amber Rose. With all these musicians in the tents, we imagine a few model-rock star romances will come out of the whole affair.
