Here's a special treat for all you vintage-addicted eBay scavengers: Sarah Bagner -- famous among the hip London set for her outrageous stall on Portobello Road, where she greets shoppers with a tray of tea and biscuits before guiding them through her treasure trove -- has now set up her own Web store, so we can enjoy her impeccable taste stateside.
Sarah set up her spectacular new site, Supermarket Sarah, on a giant white wall in her own house, which she merchandises according to color and (occasionally) theme. She then uploads the image to the site, adds hyperlinks to each item, and voila: customers can literally shop the wall. Each piece is a one-of-a-kind find, so once it's gone, it's gone. Her unique approach makes for a wonderfully intimate online shopping experience that we hope becomes a bigger trend (we can totally see Urban Outfitters picking this up in the future. ).
