We're Loving: Gingham Dresses from APC Madras

APC's diffusion line, Madras, was originally launched as a room-to-beach capsule collection, composed of cheeky, flimsy separates and dresses that provided some relief from the more austere main collection. Madras has since evolved to include a winter season, but we're still suckers for their can't-miss summery ensembles and colorful textiles.
Gingham has been a springtime standby for 300 years, so you'd think it would be a snap to find the perfect gingham frock for the season. We'd all but given up on our search 'til we fell in love with this easy-breezy gingham dress from Madras' new spring collection: the clean lines and simple spaghetti-strap shape are tres APC, and we appreciate the addition of two front pockets. Styled with a big straw hat and some yellow Lanvin flats (which we've been eyeing on eBay), this dress is the epitome of laid-back summer chic. Now, if only the temperature would crank back to 70.
