For anyone who's been getting a little snoozy over the spate of half-talent, celebrity-designer collaborations coming out every other day, we've found the perfect answer in Dusen Wylie, designer Ellen Van Dusen of Dusen Dusen's fetching new line of coats with Daily Candy editor Erin Wylie. Dusen Dusen first cropped up on our radar with the label's artsy, trippy printed backpacks, and Wylie's got a serious eye for cool design, so it's hardly surprising that the results would be nothing less than swoon-worthy.
The duo's inaugural collection, handmade in Brooklyn with fabrics and materials sourced straight out of NYC's garment district, includes a limted-edition Pendleton pullover with a braided suede drawstring hood, a slouchy multicolor striped wool blazer, an ombre-striped wool barn coat, and our favorite—a smokey-gray wool and cashmere cape with a splashy hand-painted stripe at its hem.
Those dreary winter days ahead just got a little more colorful.
