Velvet's Basics Line for Uniqlo Launches Tomorrow

Fresh off the heels of the mega-retailer's collaborations with Jil Sander and Costello Tagliapietra, Uniqlo's latest designer collection from West Coast-based label Velvet hits stores tomorrow.
Style File has images of a few of the pieces from the collection, which reflect Velvet's laid-back, breezy style (no doubt inspired by the brand's native California). The line will feature the brand's classic essentials -- from tanks to tunic dresses -- at Uniqlo prices, of course. It remains to be seen if Velvet has quite the same cult appeal as a designer like Jil Sander, but Uniqlo's collaborations thus far have proved remarkably popular (there was a pretty packed turn-out for Costello Tagliapietra's launch, for example), so we'll just have to wait 'til tomorrow to be sure.
