French designer Vanessa Bruno's effortlessly cool ready-to-wear and accessories have always been favorites among New York "it" girls, but the merch has always been relatively scarce in local stores.
Happily, New Yorkers can get their Bruno fix in early 2013 at the designer's new Soho pop-up, which is slated to open from February 7th to February 14th.
The 1,600 square foot space will also serve as a temporary showroom for new collections.
The pop-up is intended as a kind of test-run for a more permanent brick-and-mortar boutique in the city. “It is a first step before we open a standalone store in New York,” Elisa Poncent, the brand's international sales director, told WWD.
The designer has already made moves to beef up her retail presence in the states, including an L.A. flagship store and 25 new wholesale locations around the country.
