It's truly a new era of fashion, as the highest of high design houses collaborate with middle market brands. The latest, Valentino for Gap, drops this November in conjunction with the opening of Gap's flagship in Milan, and will expand to the London flagship and Collette in Paris. Sadly, no word on if and when it'll be released here in the States.
On the heels of the announcement that Lanvin has teamed up with H&M for a holiday collection also launching late November, Valentino's guest collection may come as a surprise. Of course, high-low fashion BFFs are nothing new, and Gap itself is no stranger to the concept, having worked with Stella McCartney and Pierre Hardy. But Valentino is just so old-school classic, that it threw us for a loop.
An excited loop, for sure, but for now, the collection is exclusive to Europe
