It's rare to get releases on sales from A-list designers like Oscar de la Renta, so we shouted out loud once this news hit our inbox. Alas, turns out (PETA alert), the sale is only on de la Renta's furs.
That said, considering the biggest trend both on the runway and on the street at the Fall 2010 Fashion Week shows here in the city seemed to be fur, fur, fur (again, sorry PETA), this sale might actually offer more than a few options you could wear right now and next winter. Most everything will be a whopping 70-80 percent off, so for those who've visited designers sales in the past and fretted that even 50 percent doesn't really get prices where you can actually afford them, this is your ticket to spectacular wardrobe pieces.
