THE RETURN OF TOM FORD: After months of rumors, Tom Ford finally staged his first womenswear collection since 2004. True to form, he didn't opt for a traditional runway show but instead recruited a cast of stars (including Beyonce and Julianne Moore) to model the new pieces at an intimate party.

It would be difficult to imagine a designer possessed of the same combination of sly sex appeal and slick tailoring as Tom Ford, so it's appropriate the Ford will be tasked with dressing Daniel Craig as James Bond in the next Bond flick, Skyfall, which is directed by Sam Mendes and is due out in 2012.

In a statement reported by the Telegraph, Ford said: "I couldn't be happier to be dressing Daniel Craig again ... James Bond epitomises the Tom Ford main in his elegance, style and love of luxury. I am thrilled to move forward with this iconic character."

Ford also dressed Craig for the 2010 Bond film, Quantum of Solace. According to the Telegraph, Ford's wardrobe for Bond will include everything from suits to sunglasses.
