Despite the fact that the fashion community has been more or less crushed under the epic calendar that is fashion week, we'd anticipate there'll be a very decent turnout at the closing party tonight for the Elizabeth & James pop-up on Hudson Street.
The Olsen twins' mid-priced line is as chic and wearable as it is stylish -- fall's offerings include rolled-cuff leather shorts and paperbag-waist skirts -- and considering the run of pop-ups in the past, we're betting this temporary store heralds the arrival of a more permanent retail space in the future. As such, shoppers would do well to snap up the goods while the label's still relatively under the radar (as much as any celebrity label can be). The pop-up includes the label's fall clothing collection, as well as jewelry and shoes.
