Lucky Shops -- a three-day shopping bazaar hosted by the magazine -- kicks off Thursday with a special VIP soiree hosted by none other than Hilary Duff. Tickets to the party are $185, and we'll be giving away a pair of tickets at noon today. For details, follow us on Twitter!
Starting Thursday, Lucky Shops will take over the Metropolitan Pavilion with an edited selection of more than 60 designers' clothing, handbags, jewelry, accessories discounted up to 70 percent.
Lucky's new editor-in-chief Brandon Holley (formely of Jane) shared her plan of attack: "I plan to do a lot of holiday shopping while I’m there, I like to spoil the women I love—my mom, my sister, my friends—so I hope to find some really great stuff. I usually do most of my shopping ahead of time, I can’t take the stress of messy, busy, picked-over merch at malls on Christmas Eve.”
In addition to major markdowns on some truly stellar brands, there will be music and refreshments a-plenty to help get you into the holiday party-slash-shopping spirit a little earlier than usual this year. Tickets for the event range from $30 for a Saturday Shop-a-Thon to $185 for a pass to Thursday night's VIP party.
