Ladies, get your engines ready. The Alexander Wang sample sale kicks off today and runs through Saturday.
For many, it'll be a holiday weekend starting Thursday, when the it-boy designer puts select resort and spring 2010 handbags and apparel on sale for up to 80 percent off. The event goes down at 93 Mercer Street, just a few blocks north of the rumored future home of Alexander Wang's first boutique at 103 Grand Street, in the former Yohji Yamamoto space.
If you can get there in time, the deals are stellar: the Rocco Mini Duffle, once $875, is now $350; the Natasha Leopard Pump is marked down to $230 from $575; the Asymmetrical Khaki and Leather Skirt goes from $595 to $238, and 1x1 Romper is reduced to $168 from $420. And that is only the tip of the iceberg.
We've listed the full details below so you can make your game plan--which, by all means, should include ample time allowed for line-waiting. Also note that there's a credit card minimum of $200.
