Tamara Mellon Fronts Ads for New Jimmy Choo Scent

In selecting who would become the face of the brand's first-ever fragrance, founder Tamara Mellon went with someone familiar: herself. The chief creative officer and co-founder of the famed shoe label gives page-turners quite a glimpse of her neck and cleavage in the ads for Jimmy Choo's new scent, called simply "Jimmy Choo."

The chief creative officer and co-founder of the famed shoe label told editors at a recent preview that fragrance is "something that's very personal" -- part of the reason she chose to add some of her favorites like "green fresh notes" and patchouli to the new scent.

The $95 scent comes enclosed in a spherical glass bottle and a pink snakeskin-print box, which Mellon said "reflected what was in the bottle, something empowering and also sensual and soft."

This initial foray into fragrance is apparently just the start for Jimmy Choo, which plans to roll out at least two new perfumes over the next three years, according to Stylelist.
