It's tough to pull off Fair Isle or Nordic patterns without looking like you're fresh off the slopes, but Emma Riley knows the look can still be chic on a city sidewalk. Her drapey knit cardigan -- "I've literally been wearing this for days," she told us -- and shearling-lined booties are as appropriate for New York City as they are in some cozy, mountain cabin.

Occupation: "Actor."

En Route: "To pick up some cheese!"

Today I'm Wearing: "Sweater from Urban Outfitters, turquoise clutch from American Apparel, Betsy Johnson flower ring, shearling-lined booties from Nine West."

My Signature Style in Middle School: "Probably a lot of Abercrombie & Fitch, honestly!"

If I Could Sit Front Row at Any Fashion Show, it Would Be: "Margiela."

The Best Thing You Bought This Year: "A plane ticket home to San Francisco to see my family for Thanksgiving."
