The buzz around Karl Lagerfeld's soon-to-launch collection has been absolutely immense, with Karl Kountdown, ways to Karlify yourself online, and more, and now the launch date has finally arrived.
The new Karl collection will launch exclusively online at Net-a-Porter on Wednesday, but the site is hosting special shopping events in five major cities to fete the launch, with one such event taking place in Soho on Wednesday morning.
Doors to Net-a-Porter's special Karl shop will open at 10:30 a.m. sharp on Wednesday at 375 Bleecker Street. What's more, the first 50 folks in line will receive a gift from the new line (we're betting it's a tote, but hey, we may be surprised). Between the giveaway and the temperate weather, we're betting more than a few hopeful shoppers turn out tomorrow morning.
For those that can't make the event in person (hey, some of us have to work), don't fret: The collection will launch internationally online at 10:30 a.m., so everyone gets a chance at the goods at the exact same time. Be mindful, however, that will the new collection's prices are lower than, say, Lagerfeld's designs for Chanel, these won't be H&M or Target prices; much of the collection costs more than $300.
