We all know those women who get their look just right -- on trend, but fresh and individual enough that they never look like fashion victims. We'll start taking a look at some of our fashion role models in a new ThreadNY feature, "It Girls." First up is Shala Monroque, whose easy-going glamour, creative director of Garage magazine. Her sense of style has been evident since she began popping up on the red carpet. Here she is in a checkered shirt tied at the waist, jeans, an oversized necklace and her signature turban at the launch of jewelry collection NEREE for ERE in 2009.
