Saks is celebrating the 100th anniversary of Father's Day this June with a rather unlikely contest: an Internet search for the country's best dad.
Forget the screen-printed coffee mug and matching T-shirt from the cart at the mall -- Saks has upped the ante when it comes to paternal appreciation. From now through March 21, 26 Saks stores will be accepting nominations for outstanding dads within their families and communities. Winners win an entire wardrobe from the men's store, plus recognition in store windows and a ceremony and shopping event at their local store.
We always imagined paying back our fathers for all they've provided over the years, and a Saks Fifth Avenue shopping spree seems like a fantastic (slash, kind of hilarious, if you know some of our fathers) way to finally do so.
