Polyvore has grown from guilty collage-building pleasure to style-contest marketing tool for big name designers, but Rebecca Minkoff takes it a step further with a design challenge she's hosting through the site.
Instead of the usual compilations based around existing designs, Minkoff is giving fans the chance to actually design a new style of her classic "Morning After" clutch to be debuted at New York Fashion Week for the Fall 2011 season.
Now through November 30, budding designers can show off their chops by submitting a unique design for Minkoff and her design team to review for consideration. The pros will pick their top ten, post them on Facebook, and users can vote for their favorite of the finalists to become the latest RM bag between December 1-8.
The winner gets the glory of designing a handbag, a trip to New York Fashion Week see the bag debut on the runway and, of course, their very own, very own bag.
