Even absent, Alexander McQueen is still making an impression this Fashion Week. In an appropriately-timed tribute to the late designer, three pieces from his final Fall/Winter 2010 collection are currently on display in the windows of the Alexander McQueen store.
The dramatic, Renaissance-like portrait posted outside the Meatpacking District space inspires a kind of museum-like awe—indeed, the three gowns are very much worthy of their own exhibition—for passersby and fashion show attendees (Milk Studios is just around the corner) to witness.
