Rejoice, all ye of poor vision! Opening Ceremony's new collection of retro-cool Prism eyeglasses are guaranteed to be the Next Big Thing in spring accessories--plus, they enable the wearer to actually see the envy overcome their friends' faces.
Hand-carved from archival bricks of Italian acetate--which doesn't sound very luxe, but is extremely light, and suited to balancing on the bridge of your nose--no two pairs of Prism's quirky opticals are precisely the same. Of course, we're dying to get our hands on the exact pair of crystal clear "New York" frames shown in Prism's online lookbook, but hopefully something similar turns up in OC's display cases.
Like all things ultra-hip and moderately exclusive, Prisms don't come on the cheap, priced (on average) at $360. However, if you're a prescribed, 24/7 eyeglass wearer, we think the price will be totally justified by your deeply ferosh new look.
Available January 2010 online and in Opening Ceremony stores.
