Designer Jean Paul Gaultier poses with his new Diet Coke bottles in Paris.
Jean Paul Gaultier isn't the first designer to team up with the Coca-Cola company on a custom product -- Karl Lagerfeld has also created some Diet Coke bottles -- but he's the first to do it with a larger title attached, since the brand recently named him creative director of Diet Coke in Europe.
After kicking off the partnership with a video series, the designer unveiled the custom bottles he's also created for the brand at a party in Paris. True to form, the two designs feature the most iconic of Gaultier's looks: one designed to look like the bottle is wearing a jaunty striped shirt, and the other featuring a lacy bustier that Madonna might have worn in the '90s.
Speaking of Madonna, Grazia reports that Gaultier will be designing the costumes for her new MDNA tour, so we'll have those to look forward to as well.
