Now Open: Mayle Upper East Side Pop-Up

Fans of Jane Mayle's cult label were devastated when the designer shuttered her Elizabeth Street outpost (along with her quirky-retro feminine label) back in 2009, and ever since die-hard followers of the brand have been hoping for a revival. For the next three weeks, those wishes will be granted.

Starting today through October 14, Jane Mayle will be offering new pieces from a Fall 2010 capsule collection to a pop-up space (that also happens to be a Sigerson Morrison store) on the Upper East Side. Why the tie to Sigerson Morrison? Well, the designer will be rolling out an exclusive new collaboration with Sigerson Morrison (whose shoe store, coincidentally, used to be the designer's Nolita neighbor). There'll be new goods arriving each week, but we're betting the latest arrivals will likely be sold out before the weekend's over. As the designer herself wrote on her website: "This comes out of nowhere and goes back there after thee weeks," so we'd suggest heading up quickly to catch the moment while it lasts.

Jane Mayle Pop-Up at Sigerson Morrison:
Through October 14 at 19 East 71st Street,
Monday-Saturday, 10AM-6PM
