This week, buyers made their way back to the city after a month of nonstop shows in Paris, Milan, London and New York. With everything fresh in their minds, we asked top stores to weigh in on the new talent to watch closely come fall. One name to know is Cedric Charlier, a former designer at Lanvin and Cacharel whose work Barneys' VP Danielle Vitale describes as "sexy but wearable" with "unexpected details like copper closures, plunging necklines and luxurious faux leather and shearling fabrics." Her sentiments were echoed by Jumelle's Candice Waldron, who called Charlier the designer she was "probably most excited to see" this season.
