Mary J. Blige Joins Forces with Catherine Malandrino

Gal pals Mary J. Blige and Catherine Malandrino have put their talents together to create a line of "T-luxe" shirts to benefit Blige's Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now, hitting stores next week.

The diva designer and singer will team up at Bloomingdales' new 350-square-foot Catherine Malandrino concept shop on February 17 to trumpet awareness to FFAWN, while hawking the $39 FFAWN + Catherine Malandrino off-the-shoulder tunic tees emblazoned with bold phrases like "I'm Love", "I'm Life", "I'm Free", "I'm Power", which will send a percentage of proceeds to the organization.

The two have enjoyed a longtime working relationship, with Blige performing at Malandrino's 2001 show and in turn, Malandrino serving on the FFAWN board.  Malandrino will show her fall 2010 collection on Sunday as part of fashion week, and as is the BFF's custom, Blige will offer her usual kind words and support.
