Marchesa's Wedding Dresses for Priscilla of Boston Debut in September

Having set the gold standard for high-end bridal salons, Priscilla of Boston is accompanying its gradual retail expansion with an exclusive designer line, Eterna by Marchesa, bowing in September.

The collaboration, announced last month, will fall at price points between $1,500-$5,000 -- falling neatly between its current upscale bridal collection (pictured here) and its existing lower-price line of ready-to-wear, Notte by Marchesa.

The addition of Marchesa to the lineup is in keeping with the bridal salon's subtle spruce-up of its image, which Priscilla's chief fashion strategist and merchandising manager Kimberly Lee Minor explained to WWD: "We want to be a galaxy, not just an offering. To create a galaxy, you ask, ‘Who is best of class?’ and then you fill that space."

Details on the line seem to be only trickling in, but we imagine the aesthetic will adhere to Marchesa's signature romantic, dreamy, feminine silhouette and, perhaps, offer the Priscilla's shopper something a smidge more fantastical than traditional.
