Damien Hirst joins a long line of guest designers for Louis Vuitton, creating what looks to be a very fancy (albeit creepy) surgeon's cabinet.
The Damien Hirst for Louis Vuitton piece we've seen (thanks to Aarting) swaps out the monogram for another signature, the butterfly, on a waist-high hard-shell trunk inspired, appropriately for Hirst, by the storage of surgical supplies.
Oddly enough, this collaboration marks a somewhat mainstream direction for the avant-garde artist, although I think we can rest assured the concept won't be overexposed to the masses.
