Lanvin Flagship Reportedly Opening on Madison Next Week

Lanvin has been elusive about its entree to NYC, but a new report in New York Post says the uptown store is set to open its 815 Madison doors as early as next week.

While the industry has been speculating about the details on Lanvin's new flagship, the Post is reporting that, according to unspecified sources, the French fashion house will move into an epic five-story, 6,000-square-foot space on upper Madison, complete with a bridal salon (upping the bridal ante on that sector of Madison, where J.Crew's new bridal store also recently opened).

While Lanvin has shrouded the opening in plenty of smoke and mirrors, the same secret sources say the store will be decked out in upscale French style, featuring a series of antique chandeliers and other appropriately luxe decor accents. Frankly, we wouldn't expect anything less from Lanvin, and the Paris-based brand's entree into the city seems long overdue.
