Newlywed Kate Moss Covers September Vogue

Kate Moss' editorial cover spread for the September issue of Vogue is nothing like the fictional Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City bridal shoot, as it was rumored to be -- it's better.

Mario Testino documented his longtime muse's recent country wedding to musician Jamie Hince, in which the bride wore a slinky John Galliano gown. In Hamish Bowles' profile, old friends Moss and Galliano open up about working together on the dress -- a very significant project for both. Galliano, who couldn't go to the wedding, presumably due to rehab commitments, called Moss "very professional and very demanding" in the process, but said to Bowles:

“She dared me to be John Galliano again,” the designer tells me. “I couldn’t pick up a pencil. It’s been my creative rehab.”

Then there was also the star-studded guest list: Naomi Campbell (whom Moss apparently asked, "Trying to upstage me?"), Stella McCartney (with family, and father, Paul), Vivienne Westwood, Carine Roitfeld, Terry Richardson, Riccardo Tisci, Marc Jacobs, Manolo Blahnik (who made her shoes), Stefano Pilati, and others.

Moss, likening the logistics of planning a wedding to the Met Ball, apparently hired seasoned fashion show producer Sam Gainsbury to pull it all off, in true model style.
