We've all suffered for fashion, but after landing in the hospital Sunday night, Dynasty star Joan Collins has probably learned her lesson.
Page Six is reporting that the 77-year-old maven of the silver screen was taken away in an ambulance after feeling faint at the Vanity Fair Oscars After-Party. Collins explained what happened to the gossip column, blaming her body-hugging, jewel-encrusted lavendar column gown:
The truth was, I made the wrong decision to wear a very tight dress, and had something rather like a Victorian swoon. The good news is, I am in good health and feel fine today.
It just goes to show that the most important thing at these events, as cliche as it may sound, really is feeling comfortable.
